Access 2000 User Specialist

Intended Audience

This two day course is intended for students who wish to prepare for the Microsoft Office User Specialist exam for Access 2000.

Purpose

The purpose of this course is to teach introductory to intermediate features of Access 2000 to allow participants to create and customize a database. By the end of this course, the student should be able to create database tables, enter data into the tables, extract information from the tables, and produce forms and reports based on tables or queries.
This course is intended to be completed in sequential order.

Prerequisites

Students should be familiar with the use of personal computers, understand basic file concepts (such as the use of files and folders for storing information) and be comfortable working in the Windows 95/98/2000 or Windows NT 4.0 environment. It is recommended that users unfamiliar with Windows take an Introduction to Windows course before taking this course.
Knowledge of database concepts is not assumed.
