Course Length/Prerequisites
This one day course requires familiarity with both the Windows 95 environment
and the World Wide Web as well as keyboarding ability. Completion of
the FrontPage 98 Introduction course or equivalent experience with FrontPage
98 is requested.
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for people who are interested in attaining
the skills necessary to create, manage and maintain World Wide Web pages
of moderate complexity using FrontPage 98.
Course Objectives
The goal of this course is to provide an overview of Front Page 98
web authoring tools of moderate complexity. Upon completion of this
hands-on workshop, students will be able to:
create lists and outlines
insert, format and modify tables
insert active elements such as animated buttons, hit counters, text
animation, page transitions and scrolling marquees
create search forms
insert and modify input forms
use Include Page and Substitution components (web bots)
setup and modify a web using frames
build navigation menus with frames
configure security settings and publish a web
