Course Overview and Purpose
This 1-2 day course is an introduction to the world of computers
and Microsoft Windows 2000. Students will learn how to use the basic
hardware components of a computer system, and become familiar with
the Windows 2000 user interface (such as application sizing, menus
and dialog boxes). In addition, students will learn basic file management
techniques and be introduced to some application software.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course. Some typing is required
so familiarity with the computer keyboard is an asset.
