Course Overview and Purpose
This 1-2 day course is an introduction to the world of computers
and Microsoft Windows 2000. Students will become familiar with the
Windows 2000 user interface (such as application sizing, menus and
dialog boxes). In addition, students will learn basic file management
techniques and be introduced to some application software.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course. Some typing is required
so familiarity with the computer keyboard is an asset.

This 1-2 day course covers a wide variety of topics, including

- The Desktop
- The Taskbar
- Working with Windows 2000
- File Handling
- Copying and Moving Information
- File Management using Explorer
- Printing
- Using Help
- Windows 2000 Management and Customization
