Course Overview and Purpose
Excel 2002 (the Office XP spreadsheet) is a powerful spreadsheet
application that runs on the Windows operating systems. The purpose
of this three-day course is to teach advanced spreadsheet skills
(including templates, styles, outlining, summarizing lists, retrieving
external data, using logical functions and recording macros) using
Excel 2002.
Prerequisites
Students should be familiar with all the topics covered in the
Excel 2002 Core course.
Students should also be familiar with the use of personal computers,
understand basic file concepts (such as the use of files and folders
for storing information) and be comfortable working in the Windows
95/98/ME/2000,Windows NT 4.0, or Windows XP environment. It is recommended
that users unfamiliar with Windows take introductory course before
taking this course.
Moderate typing skills are also required.
