Course Overview and Purpose
Word 2002 (the Office XP word processor) is a powerful word processing
program that runs on the Windows operating systems. The purpose of
this one-day course is to teach basic word processing skills (including
creating, editing, formatting, saving and printing documents) using
Word 2002.
Prerequisites
Students should be familiar with the use of personal computers, understand
basic file concepts (such as the use of files and folders for storing
information) and be comfortable working in the Windows 95/98/ME/2000,Windows
NT 4.0, or Windows XP environment. It is recommended that users unfamiliar
with Windows take introductory course before taking this course.
Moderate typing skills are also required.
