Word 97 Expert Specialist

Course Length/Prerequisites

This three-day course requires Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 Introduction as well as the Word 97 User Specialist course. Familiarity with all features covered in the User Specialist course or equivalent experience with the product is a prerequisite.

Course Objectives

This course is designed for students who wish to prepare for the Word 97 Expert Specialist exam. The Expert Specialist exam of the Microsoft Office User certification program covers the following skills:
advanced paragraph formatting
working with fields
merging documents
creating worksheets, charts, graphics and text boxes
working with multi-column documents
navigate and organize long documents
recording and editing macros
workgroup functions

Upon completion of this hands-on workshop, students will be able to perform the required tasks listed above. Students who wish to achieve certification in the MS Office User program will be prepared to challenge the Expert Specialist exam.
